Greece Wins Bid For 2008

Athens, Greece will be the venue for the 2010 IAPCO Annual Meeting & General Assembly.

AC&C International SA, one of IAPCO’s Greek members, presented an extremely competitive and quality driven bid and fought of strong competition from other venues, all keen to host such a prestigious event. AC&C is a PCO located in Athens providing integrated solutions for the organization, execution and management of International, European and local events.  With a dynamic team of 120 experienced and specialized personnel, AC&C has successfully organized over 1900 congresses, meetings, incentives and events in its 14 years of operation.The Annual Meeting and General Assembly gathers the leading PCOs of the world together to discuss, not only the business of the Association, but the current issues facing the industry today, the outcome of which provides a basis for the increasingly popular guideline documents for the international meetings industry.   

The 2008 AM&GA took place in Auckland with an attendance of 40 delegates, a pertinent number as this year celebrates IACPO’s 40thAnniversary;  2009 will be held in Ghent, Belgium.
